Ethos and Swiss Foundations have signed an agreement today allowing members of SwissFoundations to delegate the exercise of their shareholder voting rights to Ethos.
This partnership is intended exclusively for those members of SwissFoundations with assets in Swiss equities of less than10 million Swiss francs. According to the agreement , Ethos will exercice the voting rights on behalf of the members concerned. These will also receive a quarterly report of the voting results of the 100 largest Swiss listed companies along with statistics and other relevant information. SwissFoundations will provide administrative support by collecting and filling in the voting forms.
This agreement with SwissFoundations is an attractive solution for both partners. With this joint effort, Ethos and Swiss Foundations intend to allow a more cost effective exercise of voting rights and to promote an active shareownership by charitable foundations.
